Seed sovereignty as decommodification: a perspective from subsistence peasant communities in Southern Mexico

How do subsistence communities conceptualize their seed sovereignty? What peasants perceive to be the principal threats sovereignty and how they respond these threats?; local initiatives relate broader ideologies, goals, strategies of global movement? Local conceptions seeds as a commons are contributing multidimensional decommodification project peasant agriculture indigenous autonomy. I analyze one particular initiative targeting environmental deterioration climate change, two most salient communities' sovereignty: efforts halt widespread chemicalization agriculture.
